Greek influencer Ioanna Touni and her partner, Dimitris Spyridonidis, documented a trip to Kenya that included visits to Nairobi slums, the Maasai Mara, and various local communities.

During the visit, Touni noted the disparity in living standards in Nairobi, observing that approximately 14 people resided in single small homes. She expressed deep emotion regarding these conditions, stating, “My heart is heavy.” Her journey also involved observing Maasai village life, where she highlighted challenges such as homes constructed from mud and dung, the financial burden of school fees, and the dangers of collecting water from rivers.

Following her time in Nairobi, the couple engaged in a safari, observing wildlife including lions, elephants, and giraffes. Touni described the immersive nature of the experience, stating, “It is like watching a documentary, but you are there.”

Since returning to Greece, Touni has continued to share highlights and video footage from the trip on her Instagram account, reflecting on their time observing nature in its natural habitat.
