Developments: 2. An ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, which began on February 28, has led to heightened political tensions and public demonstrations in Tehran. In Tajrish Square, Tehran’s Beautification Organization unveiled a municipal installation featuring an actor portraying US President Donald Trump inside a mock prison cell. The display, which includes a bed, toilet, and sink, serves as a political protest against the United States. This specific installation follows a deadly American strike in the southern Iranian town of Kuhestak last month. An electronic billboard behind the cell displays imagery related to the strike and crime scenes to reinforce the message. While the installation has gained social media attention, local citizens in Tehran have expressed concerns regarding the future of the war and general living conditions. In response to the political climate, a White House official asserted that the United States maintains a strong position due to its control of the Strait of Hormuz and the state of the Iranian economy, stating that the conflict will conclude soon. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-24: Tehran displays Trump impersonator in mock prison cell An actor impersonating Donald Trump appeared in a mock prison cell on a billboard in Tehran to protest a recent US strike in Iran. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/tehran-displays-trump-impersonator-in-mock-prison-cell ### 2026-10-21: Tehran displays mock prison cell featuring Donald Trump An actor portraying Donald Trump in a mock prison cell has become a viral street performance in Tehran's Tajrish Square amid ongoing tensions between Iran, the US, and Israel. 10 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/tehran-displays-mock-prison-cell-featuring-donald-trump --- Cite as: Iran-US-Israel conflict escalation.
