Iranian leadership has issued messages emphasizing the critical role of elites and scientific advancement in strengthening the nation. The Supreme Leader stated that national progress depends on a “deep and rapid scientific leap” under the ‘Al-Ilm Sultan’ (Knowledge is Power) strategy, calling for officials to provide infrastructure that supports the collective intelligence of the country’s intellectuals and youth.

Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei reinforced this sentiment by addressing achievers in scientific and sporting fields. He noted that the concept of elitism encompasses any excellence that serves the country and stressed that talented youth are indispensable for consolidating hope and ensuring the nation’s future progress.
