During a ceremony in Tehran, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani asserted that the United States has been ‘expelled from Iraq’ and suffered a ‘humiliating defeat’ against Iran. 

Qaani emphasized the unity of the ‘Resistance Front,’ stating that its actions are inspired by the legacies of leaders such as Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine. He advocated for a ‘belt of defense, independence, and dignity’ spanning from Afghanistan to Yemen and from Iran to Gaza and Lebanon. Additionally, Qaani highlighted military successes in Yemen, claiming resistance forces have reclaimed 5,400 square kilometers of territory and are nearing the reclamation of another 1,000 square kilometers.
