The annual Ironman 70.3 event in Port Macquarie, Australia, saw more than 3,000 competitors participate on October 18.

In the men’s division, Belgian two-time world champion Jelle Geens secured victory with a time of 3:44:34. Geens took control during the 90km cycling leg after early leader Josh Ferris crashed out. He finished more than two minutes ahead of runner-up Kieran Storch and third-place Mitchell Kibby.

In the women’s division, Australian Olympian Natalie Van Coevorden successfully defended her title.
