During the fourth week of the 2026/2027 BRI Super League at Stadion PKOR Sumpah Pemuda in Lampung, Persebaya Surabaya defeated Isenmulang Kalteng FC 1-0. The match was decided in first-half stoppage time when Alex Martins converted a penalty following a foul on Miguel Pereira.

Persebaya coach Bernardo Tavares noted that while his team secured the win, he was dissatisfied with their finishing. He also observed that poor pitch conditions hindered short passing, forcing a reliance on long balls. A goal by Diogo Ramalho was disallowed for the side following a VAR review for offside.

For Isenmulang Kalteng FC, the defeat marks their fourth consecutive loss, leaving the club at the bottom of the standings with minus two points. Coach Mundari Karya cited ongoing issues with finishing and negative transitions, though goalkeeper Adre Arido expressed optimism regarding the team’s developmental progress.
