The Salomé Ureña Higher Teacher Training Institute (ISFODOSU) in the Dominican Republic has conducted graduation ceremonies for new education professionals. 

In an earlier ceremony, the institute graduated 1,093 professionals, including the first graduates specializing in Artistic Education and Environmental Education. Rector Dinorah García Romero encouraged the cohort to utilize digital culture and artificial intelligence to humanize educational spaces. 

A subsequent ceremony at the Urania Montás Campus in San Juan de la Maguana saw the graduation of 167 professionals, consisting of 139 bachelor’s degree holders and 28 master’s degree holders. This event marked the investiture of the first cohort of the Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences for secondary education, a program intended to strengthen democratic values and national identity.
