Initial concerns focused on potential propaganda within Palestinian territories and Italian schools, where critics argued that certain curricula or activist groups, such as ‘Docenti per Gaza’, might promote hostility toward Israel and Jewish people. Additionally, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem noted significant challenges for Palestinian schools resulting from Israeli restrictions. At the United Nations, Benjamin Netanyahu’s assertions regarding the conflict faced pushback; specifically, his description of West Bank settler violence as isolated incidents was contested by United Nations OCHA data, which indicated an increase in attacks, fatalities, and house demolitions. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-26: Israel-Palestine conflict faces scrutiny at UN and through religious protests Religious leaders in Rome protest the deaths of Palestinian and Lebanese children, while Benjamin Netanyahu faces accusations of spreading misinformation at the UN regarding settler violence in the West Bank. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/israel-palestine-conflict-faces-scrutiny-at-un-and-through-religious-protests ### 2026-09-06: Education and propaganda concerns rise over Israel-Palestine conflict Concerns are rising over allegations of political indoctrination and antisemitism in educational settings, specifically regarding how the Israel-Palestine conflict is taught in Palestinian territories and Italy 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/education-and-propaganda-concerns-rise-over-israel-palestine-conflict --- Cite as: Israel-Palestine conflict international scrutiny.
