Itaú BBA has issued several positive investment outlooks for major Brazilian companies across the utilities, energy, and financial sectors.

In the utilities sector, the bank maintained buy ratings for Copasa and Copel. For Copasa, the bank raised its target price to R$ 82.50, citing a historic investment cycle driven by privatization and universalization requirements. For Copel, the bank reiterated a buy recommendation with a target price of R$ 17.50, noting the company’s low leverage and attractive dividend profile.

Regarding the energy and fuel distribution sector, Itaú BBA raised price targets for Vibra and Ultrapar to R$ 45 and R$ 43, respectively. This revision is based on expectations of stronger margins due to Petrobras returning to imports and Russian fuel export restrictions.

In the financial sector, the bank maintained an ‘Outperform’ rating for Nubank with a US$ 20 price target, highlighting its low-cost model and expansion into Mexico and Brazil’s middle-income segments.
