Using article 100 of the Public Security Code, police and Carabinieri shut down venues in several towns: a seven‑day closure in Venafro after a violent brawl; a 15‑day suspension in Arzachena following assaults with a cutting weapon; two separate closures in Gallarate after repeat‑offender fights; a 20‑day shutdown in Frosinone after the discovery of drugs, a knife and multiple patrons with criminal records; and a three‑day closure of the Baretto dell’Arzilla for serving minors and exceeding capacity limits. These actions illustrate an ongoing, nationwide effort in 2026 to enforce stringent safety, public‑order and zoning standards across Italy’s hospitality sector.
