In mid-September, programs in Besozzo and Monza focused on adolescent well-being and risk management. The “Punto Salute Besozzo” initiative introduced a series titled “Dipende!” to help parents of children aged 11 and older navigate substance use and risky behaviors. Meanwhile, Monza’s Teatro Villoresi hosted “Crescere Genitori,” an event using live performance to address road safety, social media usage, and risk perception for families with children aged 10 and older. By early October, initiatives expanded to include support for younger children and perinatal needs. In Pianoro, a series titled “Solo io capisco mio figlio… o forse no?” was established to help parents of primary school children understand cognitive development and psychological well-being. In Reggio Calabria, the “Colazione tra Mamme” event provided a participatory space for parents to consult with specialists in midwifery, pediatric osteopathy, and babywearing to build community support networks. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-03: Italian communities launch parenting support initiatives Community programs in Pianoro and Reggio Calabria are offering specialized workshops and professional guidance to support parents regarding child development and family well-being. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/italian-communities-launch-parenting-support-initiatives ### 2026-09-16: Italian community programs launch for parental guidance and adolescent safety Community programs in Besozzo and Monza are offering educational workshops for families to address adolescent substance use, digital safety, and risk management. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/italian-community-programs-launch-for-parental-guidance-and-adolescent-safety --- Cite as: Italian community parenting support initiatives.
