In early September 2026, various regional cultural and religious festivals are scheduled across Italy. 

In Palmanova, the historical reenactment ‘A. D. 1615 Palma alle Armi’ is set for September 4 to 6, featuring over 1,300 reenactors from 14 countries, a military camp with 400 tents, and historical markets. The event aims to recreate the life of the 17th-century fortress through civil and military activities, including military training, historical crafts, battles, equestrian competitions, and theatrical performances. Participants include approximately 60 historical groups. 

Other notable events include the ‘Ritornano i Giganti’ reenactment in San Giuliano Milanese and the Treciano Medioevo Festival in Trezzano sul Naviglio. 

Religious celebrations are also planned, including feasts in Avellino, San Giovanni Rotondo, Seregno, and Grotte Santo Stefano.
