Developments: 2. Various Italian football clubs are managing squad shortages due to player injuries. Torino FC is monitoring several setbacks, including midfielder Mandragora, who left a match against Monza with a muscle contraction. Other sidelined players include goalkeeper Franco Israel, following shoulder surgery, and Rodriguez, who is dealing with a hamstring tendon injury. Niccolò Fortini and Ilkhan are also expected to be absent, though Kian Fitz-Jim has returned to training. In Serie C, Torres coach Alfonso Greco reported multiple absences ahead of a match against Guidonia Montecelio. The depleted squad includes forwards Scotto and Sorrentino, midfielders Pennington and Lunghi, and defender Nunziatini. Lorenzo Di Stefano is expected to be out for two to three weeks, while Mamadou Kebbeh’s status remains uncertain. As Torres prepares to host Guidonia Montecelio at the Vanni Sanna stadium, Greco noted the team is struggling with injuries affecting both offensive and defensive lines. Despite these shortages, Torres holds 13 points and remains close to the promotion contention race. Greco emphasized that the team will need athletic intensity and better clinical finishing to compete against a Guidonia side he considers one of the top five teams in the league. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-22: Torres faces Guidonia amid injury concerns Torres coach Alfonso Greco prepares his injury-hit squad for a challenging Serie C matchup against Guidonia Montecelio. 21 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/bologna-coach-palladino-calls-for-mental-strength-ahead-of-cagliari-match ### 2026-10-22: Torino FC faces multiple injury concerns and squad updates Torino FC faces various injury concerns, including Mandragora's muscle contraction during the Monza match and ongoing absences for players like Rodriguez and Franco Israel. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/torino-fc-faces-multiple-injury-concerns-and-squad-updates --- Cite as: Italian football club injury reports.
