In late September and October 2026, various literary events in Italy focused on the history and resilience of women's rights.

In Moltrasio, journalist Marianna Aprile presented ‘La promessa: Dal suffragio femminile alla prima donna a Palazzo Chigi’, a work tracing eighty years of Italian women's rights from the 1946 suffrage milestone to modern reforms regarding divorce, maternity, and wage parity.

Following this, journalist Giovanna Botteri presented ‘Soffiando nel vento. Donne che non si arrendono’ in Monterotondo. Her book highlights the stories of women who resist injustice and demonstrate courage and dignity.
