In Montegranaro, construction has commenced on a 1.2 million euro expansion of the municipal cemetery. The project aims to create 340 additional burial plots, with a scheduled completion date of July 21, 2027, though local officials suggest work may finish by next summer.

To meet immediate demand, the administration has already completed 16 prefabricated plots in the new section. The project also includes redevelopment work on the monumental cemetery section, specifically targeting the loggia, with funding provided by the post-earthquake reconstruction commissioner and managed by the Special Reconstruction Office.
