Following the Italian Cycling Federation’s inability to find a suitable municipality in Piedmont for the scheduled championships, Valdengo and the Biellese region were proposed as hosts. Mayor Roberto Pella offered the region to organize the six scheduled races across various categories, including male and female allievi, juniors, Under 23, and elite women.

Ultimately, the town of Piasco was selected to host the Italian national individual time trial championships on October 24. Organized by Velo Club Esperia with support from the Italian Cycling Federation and local administration, the event features competitions for Allievi, Juniores, Under 23, and Women Elite/U23 categories. The races are scheduled to take place on circuits in the lower Varaita Valley.
