In late September, center-right parties including Fratelli d’Italia, Forza Italia, and Lega held meetings in Gela and Cassino to coordinate opposition efforts against center-left administrations and prepare for future electoral scenarios. These discussions focused on local issues such as healthcare, agriculture, and infrastructure. By mid-October, political groups expanded their territorial reach through the opening of new regional offices. In Caserta, the Noi di Centro party established a provincial headquarters to build an administrative network ahead of the 2027 municipal elections. Similarly, in Catania, the ControCorrente movement inaugurated a new political secretariat to facilitate citizen dialogue and reinforced its local presence by incorporating municipal councilors. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-12: Political organizations open new regional offices in Caserta and Catania Political groups Noi di Centro and ControCorrente have opened new regional offices in Caserta and Catania to strengthen local representation and community engagement. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/political-organizations-open-new-regional-offices-in-caserta-and-catania ### 2026-09-29: Italian center-right groups hold meetings to unify coalitions Center-right political groups in Gela and Cassino are holding meetings to unify their coalitions and prepare for future elections and local administrative challenges. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/italian-center-right-groups-hold-meetings-to-unify-coalitions --- Cite as: Italian political party local organization and coordination.
