Italian tennis players have been active across various international competitions. In late October, Lorenzo Sonego and Tyra Caterina Grant entered qualifying rounds for tournaments in Vienna and Guangzhou. Concurrently, several Italian athletes, including Lorenzo Carboni, achieved progress in the ITF Combined Forte Village tournament in Sardinia.

As the ATP 500 tournament in Vienna approached, the focus shifted to Lorenzo Musetti and Flavio Cobolli, both of whom faced difficult opening matchups against high-seeded opponents. The tournament field was notably impacted by the absence of defending champion Jannik Sinner, who was sidelined due to a right knee injury.
