Italian singer-songwriter Elisa Toffoli is launching a new musical and cinematic project titled ‘Kintsugi’. The project includes a new album, scheduled for release on November 27, and a musical documentary film titled ‘Kintsugi… e sono la mia opera’, directed by Ludovico Boccianti.

At the Rome Film Festival, the film was presented as an intimate diary exploring themes of emotional pain and spiritual transformation, inspired by the Japanese philosophy of repairing broken ceramics. The accompanying music, such as the song ‘Fomo II’, addresses social and political themes including dissent, freedom of expression, and societal divisions.
