Volunteer medical associations across Italy are expanding their emergency and transport capabilities through the inauguration of new vehicles.

In late September, the Croce Verde in Castelleone introduced a new ambulance and a Fiat Doblò specifically equipped for transporting people with disabilities. Concurrently, the Misericordia di Montecalvoli added a new ambulance and a dedicated disability transport vehicle to its fleet.

By mid-October, the Italian Red Cross Savigliano committee also inaugurated a new ambulance. This acquisition, supported by Banca CRS to mark the committee’s 30th anniversary, aims to strengthen local safety and essential services provided by volunteers.
