Meteorologist Iván Torres is returning to Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN) following a three-month absence caused by health complications. Torres, 68, had been away since July due to prostatitis and subsequent hospital-acquired bacterial infections.

Initial reports indicated that his return would be gradual, involving half-day shifts to accommodate his recovery. Upon his return to the morning news program, Torres disclosed that he has lost approximately 15 kilograms.
