JAECOO Indonesia has officially launched the J5 EV Genuine Body Kit, an accessory package developed through a participatory co-creation program. The design was informed by feedback from respondents, including customers and potential buyers, who expressed a preference for a combination of sporty and premium aesthetics.

The launch occurred during a customer gathering in Jakarta titled ‘JAECOO Weekend Drive: J5 EV Co-Creation, JAECOO Genuine for You’. The event featured approximately 100 modified J5 EV units and a symbolic handover of the kits to select customers. While the kit was previously offered as part of a vehicle bundle at GIIAS 2026, it is not yet available for separate purchase.
