Midfielder Jairo Concha has not yet responded to a contract renewal proposal from Universitario de Deportes. His current contract is scheduled to expire in December, which would allow him to become a free agent.

While the club aims to secure his continuity for future squad planning, reports suggest Concha may be delaying his decision to evaluate opportunities to play abroad. By potentially becoming a free agent, he may increase his appeal to international clubs. Concha is expected to review his options following his commitments with the Peruvian national team.
