Authorities and PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) have utilized contraflow traffic engineering on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to manage vehicle congestion.

On September 30, 2026, police and JTT implemented a contraflow system from KM 21 to KM 23 in the direction of Cikampek to alleviate congestion caused by ongoing work on the toll road. 

On October 13, 2026, a similar contraflow measure was introduced toward Cikampek between KM 21 and KM 23 to address heavy vehicle congestion. In both instances, officials advised motorists to reduce speed, maintain safe following distances, and follow instructions from officers on site.
