Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has announced the distribution of Kartu Jakarta Pintar (KJP) Plus education subsidies for the second phase, first wave of September 2026. The initiative allocates approximately Rp1.5 trillion to support 661,209 students, consisting of 491,566 continuing recipients and 169,643 new recipients.

To ensure the aid is correctly targeted, the administration is conducting a re-verification of 26,247 students in the lowest economic deciles. This audit follows reports of discrepancies, such as recipients possessing cars, high-value property, or family members serving as civil servants. Following guidance from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), officials are also working to register approximately 40,166 children identified in national socio-economic data who have not yet joined the program.
