Udinese midfielder Jakub Piotrowski was diagnosed with a mild, benign arrhythmia after experiencing breathing difficulties during a Serie A match against Lazio. 

Following medical examinations, the club confirmed that Piotrowski will undergo cardiac ablation surgery to permanently resolve the issue. The procedure is expected to sideline the Polish international for approximately four weeks. 

As a result of the surgery and recovery period, Piotrowski will miss several club fixtures, including matches against Inter Milan and Cagliari, and is expected to be available again by October 18.
