The State Executive Commission for Victim Assistance in Jalisco (CEEAVJ) reported that 4.6 million pesos remain available for economic compensations. This follows concerns from crime victims and families of disappeared persons regarding the potential depletion of funds for the year.

Of the 40 million pesos allocated for 2026, 37 million pesos were designated for subsidiary economic compensations and 3 million pesos for aid and assistance measures. While the specific funds for aid and assistance have been exhausted, the CEEAVJ stated that these services are being covered by the remaining compensation funds to prevent suspension of services.

The commission has requested a budget increase since June. Concurrently, the Jalisco Congress has approved measures to monitor the Aid, Assistance, and Integral Reparation Fund (FAARI), including requesting information and explanations from the state government regarding fund management.
