Charitable organizations across Jamaica have launched various initiatives to provide educational support to students ahead of the new academic year.

Early efforts included the National Education Trust’s Back-to-School Pop-Up Village in St Elizabeth, which provided uniforms, school supplies, and medical services to approximately 800 students. In St Thomas, the Smile Saver Foundation also distributed essential resources and provided oral-hygiene education to over 200 students.

Subsequent support expanded through community events and sports-related fundraising. Woodcats International Limited provided books and vouchers to over 100 students in Kingston. Additionally, the Flow Foundation utilized a campaign during the Caribbean Premier League to raise $750,000 in book vouchers for schools in St Elizabeth, St James, and Westmoreland.
