The musical adaptation of Jane Eyre has made its United Kingdom debut at the Southwark Playhouse Elephant in London. Written by John Caird and Paul Gordon, the production is a theatrical exploration of the classic novel by Charlotte Brontë. 

Co-directed by John Caird and Megan McGinnis, the musical features Charlie Burn as Jane Eyre and Ashley Gilmour as Edward Rochester. The production, which originally premiered in Toronto in 1996 and later moved to Broadway, is scheduled to run through October 24, with an official opening night on September 8.
