In late September 2026, Hobby Japan announced several specialized publications. These include “Hobby Japan Vintage Vol. 15,” which commemorates the 60th anniversary of the “Ultraman Series,” as well as “NAOKI Mechanics: Sunrise Real Robot 80s Edition” and the “Gunpla Catalog 2026 GWX Memorial Edition.”

Following these announcements, the 64th All Japan Model Hobby Show was scheduled for October 3–4, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight. The trade fair for plastic, radio-controlled, and railway models features exhibitors such as Ignition Model and Gray Parker Service, the latter of which is debuting its ‘Chiipura’ plastic kit series based on ‘Chiikawa’ characters.
