JAS Motorsport and Pininfarina have introduced the JAS Tensei, a high-performance restomod inspired by the 1990s Honda NSX. The project utilizes a carbon fiber body to reduce the vehicle weight to approximately 1,250 kg while retaining the original aluminum chassis.

The vehicle features a modified V6 engine developed with Judd Power technology. While initial reports specified a 3.5-liter engine producing 414 hp, subsequent details describe a 3.4-liter V6 producing 420 horsepower with an 8,500 rpm rev limit. The car is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and a customizable differential lock.

Scheduled for a public debut at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026, the JAS Tensei is priced at 880,000 euros, excluding the cost of the base vehicle required for the conversion.
