Jazz festivals across Spain have held various seasonal performances and editions throughout September 2026.

In the Reus and Valencia regions, events such as the second edition of Festivalet Jazz Reus and the ‘Fem-ho Jazz’ festival were scheduled to feature big band formats and orchestral performances, including works by Gerry Mulligan’s The Concert Jazz Band. These initiatives aimed to decentralize cultural programming across multiple municipalities.

Later in the month, the 36th edition of the L’Hora del Jazz – Memorial Tete Montoliu festival commenced in Catalonia, featuring a tribute to Duke Ellington by the Héctor Tejedo Trío. Simultaneously, the 33rd edition of the L’Alfàs en Jazz festival concluded in the Valencian community, integrating musical performances by the Ximo Tebar Band with literature and visual arts.
