JBL has introduced new audio products featuring integrated artificial intelligence to improve sound quality and user interaction. Initial updates included the PartyBox series, EasySing microphones, and portable models like the Xtreme 5 and Go 5. These products utilize technologies such as ‘AI Sound Boost’ to prevent distortion and ‘SmartEQ Mode’ to adjust equalization automatically.

Following these updates, JBL unveiled the PartyBox Ultimate 2, a high-power connected speaker designed for large events. This model features a 1,500-watt acoustic architecture, which is a 36 percent increase in power over its predecessor. The device incorporates the ‘AI Sound Boost’ software, an integrated touchscreen for managing settings, and expanded connectivity options including Wi-Fi 6 and Auracast.

The PartyBox Ultimate 2 utilizes a redesigned acoustic architecture consisting of two professional PEN tweeters with acoustic horns, two 5-inch mid-range drivers, and two 10-inch woofers. To maintain sound quality at high volumes, the ‘AI Sound Boost’ technology analyzes audio in real-time to optimize performance and minimize distortion. Additional features include ‘EasySing AI Vocal Removal’ for karaoke functionality and a built-in touchscreen integrated into the volume controller for managing music, light shows, and party games. Connectivity options also include Bluetooth LE Audio, AirPlay 2, and services such as Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect. The speaker is expected to be available in markets including France starting October 6, 2026, with a suggested retail price of 1,599 euros.
