JBL has announced the launch of the Cove series, a new ecosystem of multi-room Wi-Fi wireless speakers. The lineup includes three models: the compact M1, the portable P1—which features an IP56 rating and up to 14 hours of battery life—and the flagship X1, which is equipped with four tweeters and dual woofers.

The system supports Dolby Atmos on the P1 and X1 models and utilizes technologies such as ‘Constant Sound Field’, ‘AI Sound Boost’, and automatic self-tuning to optimize audio for specific environments. Users can manage the system through the JBL One app or use a ‘Moment’ button to transfer music between rooms. 

Additionally, the Cove series is designed to integrate with JBL Bar MK2 series soundbars, allowing the M1 and P1 models to function as wireless rear surround speakers.
