Following reports of a severed partnership with producer Zoran Birtašević and rumors of a relationship with model Aleksandar Ševa, Karleuša dismissed social media claims as “sick nonsense.” She stated that her business decisions are based on professional reasons and should remain private. Subsequent reports noted Karleuša in Skopje, North Macedonia, alongside Aleksandar Ševo. The pair attended a dinner at an elite restaurant while Karleuša was in the city to promote an upcoming concert at the Jane Sandanski Arena. Karleuša has expressed satisfaction with her personal life while maintaining privacy regarding the specific nature of her relationship. As preparations for her October 17 concert at the Jane Sandanski Arena continue, Karleuša held a press conference in North Macedonia where she teased musical surprises and the appearance of a special guest from Serbia. During this period, she also expressed an interest in representing Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest. Additionally, Karleuša recently performed at the Lugner City shopping mall in Vienna with the OK band, a performance that has elicited mixed reactions on social media concerning her career direction. In a recent podcast appearance, Karleuša discussed a shift in her personal views regarding abortion. She stated that while she previously held more liberal views, she now believes in considering the “spiritual energy of a soul entering a new body,” leading her to a position against the procedure. When addressing the moral dilemma of abortion in cases of rape, she described it as an extremely difficult topic, noting that any answer would likely offend certain groups, but expressed a preference for life in such scenarios. Furthermore, her presence in Skopje with Aleksandar Ševo appears to confirm their relationship following her previous avoidance of direct questions. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-17: Jelena Karleuša discusses past marriage and public criticism Singer Jelena Karleuša addressed public criticism and her past marriage to Duško Tošić in a recent television interview. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/jelena-karleua-discusses-past-marriage-and-public-criticism ### 2026-10-13: Jelena Karleuša discusses abortion views and new relationship Singer Jelena Karleuša has expressed a change in her stance on abortion and was seen in Skopje with partner Aleksandar Šev ahead of her upcoming concert. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/jelena-karleua-discusses-abortion-views-and-new-relationship ### 2026-10-12: Elena Tarasova performs in Banja Luka as Jelena Karleuša announces Skopje concert Russian pianist Elena Tarasova headlined the ‘Jesenja sonata’ festival in Banja Luka, while singer Jelena Karleuša prepares for a major Skopje concert and recently performed in Vienna. 8 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/jelena-karleua-performs-concert-at-lugner-city-in-vienna ### 2026-10-10: Balkan pop stars Maja Šuput and Jelena Karleuša spark interest with new relationships Balkan singers Maja Šuput and Jelena Karleuša have made headlines following public appearances with new partners during recent celebrations and promotional visits. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/balkan-pop-stars-maja-uput-and-jelena-karleua-spark-interest-with-new-relationships ### 2026-09-28: Jelena Karleuša addresses professional split and personal rumors Serbian singer Jelena Karleuša has addressed rumors regarding her personal life and professional split from producer Zoran Birtašević while traveling to Milan with her family. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/jelena-karleua-addresses-professional-split-and-personal-rumors --- Cite as: Jelena Karleuša personal and professional news.
