JetSmart has announced a strategic restructuring of its domestic flight network in Chile to improve fleet efficiency. The airline will eliminate several direct regional routes, such as those connecting Concepción with Iquique, Antofagasta, Calama, and La Serena, requiring passengers to connect through Santiago instead. 

To compensate, the airline plans to increase weekly flights on the Santiago-Concepción route from five to 14. CEO and founder Estuardo Ortiz stated the company aims for a 20% national fleet growth and a net domestic growth of over 10% by 2027, while also projecting a 62% increase in international operations.
