Club president František Adler described the women’s promotion as a “significant milestone.” To support the men’s squad during player recovery, the club signed hitter Dominik Ducháč, while Oliver Sedláček was named the new captain of the men's squad. In the women’s Datart Extraliga, Jihostroj faced early challenges. Following a previous match against Ostrava, the team suffered a 3-0 defeat against Olymp Praha. Player Sandra Skřivanová noted the team “struggled with offensive execution,” while Coach Zdeněk Pekař observed a lack of precision as matches progressed. However, the women's team later secured a victory against Karlovarsko with a score of 3:1, maintaining a perfect record through four rounds. Recent league matches have shown split results for the club. The men’s team has maintained a perfect record at the top of the extraliga, securing a 3:0 victory against Příbram. Led by Tomáš Brichta, who scored 14 points, the undefeated team remains at the top of the table with 15 points. Conversely, the women’s team suffered a 0:3 loss against VK Lvi Praha. Coach Zdeněk Pekař noted that although the team attempted to apply pressure, the experienced Prague opponents defended effectively and capitalized on key moments. ## Claims - VHK Robe Vsetín defeated HC Baník Sokolov with a score of 8:2.
