Initially, Drews stated on the podcast ‘Drews Cordalis Petry – Kids Club’ that financial constraints were preventing her and partner Adrian Louis from proceeding with wedding plans. She noted that while they desire a large celebration, they lack the resources to host one, and she explicitly rejected the idea of her father, Jürgen Drews, covering the costs, stating, ‘No, I really don't want that.’ Later, Drews clarified her position on the wedding, stating that financial constraints are not the reason for any delay, but rather that the couple intends to wait until they can fully self-finance the large celebration they desire. She added that the couple is not under pressure and is focusing on professional projects. Additionally, Drews reported sustaining finger burns after accidentally touching an active heater while attending the Mercedes-Benz Ladies' Oktoberfest in Munich. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-23: Joelina Drews suffers Oktoberfest injury and clarifies wedding plans Singer Joelina Drews suffered finger burns from a heater at Oktoberfest and clarified that her wedding delay is due to timing and resource planning rather than financial hardship. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/joelina-drews-suffers-oktoberfest-injury-and-clarifies-wedding-plans ### 2026-09-13: Joelina Drews cites financial constraints regarding wedding plans Singer Joelina Drews stated on a podcast that financial limitations are delaying her wedding plans with Adrian Louis, as the couple desires a large celebration they cannot currently afford. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/joelina-drews-cites-financial-constraints-regarding-wedding-plans --- Cite as: Joelina Drews wedding plans and personal updates.
