Former UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has expressed regret regarding his absence from the UFC Freedom 250 event held at the White House. Jones stated that while he rarely regrets career decisions, he wishes he had participated in that specific card.

Following his knockout victory over Stipe Miocic at UFC 309, Jones suggested that the bout may have been his final fight, describing it as a ‘storybook ending’ that allowed him to celebrate with his family and share his faith. While he has not officially confirmed retirement, he indicated he would be satisfied if he never competes again, though he continues to undergo drug testing.

Discrepancies have emerged regarding his involvement in the White House event; Jones indicated his representatives were in negotiations for an appearance, but UFC CEO Dana White maintained that the former champion was never under consideration for the card.
