The Jordanian Royal Family has engaged in both personal celebrations and international advocacy. In late August, Queen Rania celebrated her 56th birthday, with the Hashemite Royal Court releasing various portraits. This period also noted the recent birth of twin daughters to Princess Iman bint Abdullah II.

By late September, the focus shifted toward international diplomacy as Queen Rania addressed the United Nations General Assembly. She spoke regarding the protection of Palestinian children in military detention, arguing that these children are often “dehumanized and branded as threats” before reaching adulthood.

Recent developments highlight significant personal milestones for the King’s daughters. Princess Iman celebrated her 30th birthday on September 27, 2026. As a mother of three, she is noted for maintaining a private family life and a selective relationship with the media, with Queen Rania sharing tributes to mark the occasion.

In contrast, Princess Salma, who celebrated her 26th birthday on September 26, is taking on a more visible role within the Hashemite monarchy. Her increasing involvement in state duties is underscored by her military service, including training at Sandhurst and her status as Jordan’s first female jet pilot. Her public profile has grown through participation in official programs, such as strategic international visits to Indonesia alongside King Abdullah II.
