While the official anniversary occurred on August 23, the festivities were rescheduled to a Friday evening to align with activities for the Semana del Éxodo Jujeño. Coordinator Micaela Guaymas indicated the event was designed to foster unity among residents, municipal staff, and instructors from various programs, such as tango and fabric painting. The celebration featured live performances, dance, workshops, and a community milonga and peña.
