José Mourinho has dismissed reports linking him to a dispute between Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese national team, labeling such claims as ‘fake news’.

The controversy stems from an incident in Copenhagen where Ronaldo, aged 41, left the national team camp after remaining an unused substitute during a 2-1 victory over Norway. While manager Jorge Jesus admitted it was a mistake to have the striker warm up if he was not intended to play, Mourinho clarified via social media that he has made no comments regarding the situation involving the player, the Portuguese Football Federation, or the coaching staff.
