The province of Jujuy continues to implement initiatives to promote tourism and regional development through sports and culture.

In the sports sector, the province is positioning itself as a destination for international competitions, such as the Iron Man 5150 triathlon and the UTMB trail running championship, supported by local programs like the Juegos Forja, Copa Jujuy, and the TTT Program.

Grassroots efforts through the ‘Juegos Forja’ program are progressing with provincial qualifying stages to select representatives for the National Evita Games in Mar del Plata. Meanwhile, Jujuy’s participation in national competitions remains active. A delegation has been competing in the National Senior Games in San Juan, an event featuring over 1,400 participants from 19 provinces. Jujuy’s contingent is among those participating in disciplines such as newcom, chess, padel, and table tennis.

Recent updates confirm that these National Games for Older Adults in San Juan continue to feature diverse disciplines alongside health and wellness workshops for seniors. Simultaneously, the ‘Juegos Forja’ qualifying rounds in Jujuy remain a key component of the regional sports calendar as the province prepares its delegation for the upcoming Evita National Games in Mar del Plata.

Cultural initiatives continue to bolster the arts. The National Ballet Folklórico of the Teatro Colón is scheduled to conduct free training workshops across eight locations, and the Viva Foto Fest in the Quebrada region continues to promote the province through photography.
