Preparations are underway for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026, which is scheduled to be hosted in Malta at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali on October 24.

In Malta, the third season of ‘The Voice Kids’ is set to begin on September 7. The competition, featuring participants aged nine to 14, serves as the selection process for the Maltese representative. Finalists will participate in a songwriting camp to develop original tracks for the Grand Final.

San Marino RTV has also announced its participant for the contest: 11-year-old singer Violamarie. Following a ninth-place finish in 2025, the delegation aims for a competitive project, with her upcoming track featuring contributions from Emilio Munda and Piero Romitelli.
