A professional women’s boxing match has been scheduled for December 5, 2026, in the super flyweight division, featuring Mexican fighters Mariana ‘La Barby’ Juárez and Gabriela ‘La Bonita’ Sánchez.

The bout will take place at the Estadio Hermanos Serdán in Puebla, marking the first time the venue, also known as ‘Nido Verde’, will host a boxing event. The World Boxing Council (WBC) has confirmed that a commemorative belt will be awarded during the match.

The matchup pits the veteran Juárez, who has participated in over 35 world title bouts, against Sánchez, the current WBC interim world champion. Sánchez, who previously served as the Secretary of Sport and Youth, challenged Juárez following her victory over Tamara ‘La Rebelde’ Demarco.
