On September 3, 2026, a 13-year-old boy was ambushed and beaten by a group of at least five minors, aged 14 to 15, on Korai Street in Chania, Greece. The assault, which took place outside a school, was reportedly filmed by the attackers. 

The victim’s family indicated the attack was premeditated, noting the boy had received prior threats from the group. Following a formal complaint, police arrested two minors and their parents, while a third individual has been identified. The victim was taken to Heraklion for a forensic medical examination. Authorities are also investigating a second reported assault involving the same group.
