Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development and Haseko Corporation completed the MCUD-HASEKO Retail Kamakura Kajiwara shopping centre on July 31, 2026. The two-storey, 11,900 m² complex is located in the Kajiwara residential district of Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, near the Shonan Shinsawa Station.

The development is situated near the Murakami-Shinsawa redevelopment zone. Anchor tenants include Cainz, which held its grand opening on August 28, 2026, and Life Corporation, which opened its supermarket on September 1, 2026. 

The Cainz location provides daily necessities, pet supplies, and outdoor gear, and has established an agreement with Kamakura City to assist with the supply of goods during disasters. The Life supermarket, the company’s first Kamakura location in approximately 22 years, focuses on fresh, local ingredients such as Shonan vegetables and Kanagawa-raised pork.
