The US-based power metal band Kamelot has released its fourteenth studio album, titled ‘Dark Asylum’, via Napalm Records. 

Produced by Sascha Paeth and Jacob Hansen, the 15-track concept album follows a narrative set in the fictional RavenHill Asylum, a location where science, faith, and madness intersect. The story explores themes of isolation, identity, and psychological transformation. 

Following the release of singles such as ‘Ashen World’ and ‘Godlike Alchemy’, the final single, ‘Sanctuary’, features a vocal trio consisting of frontman Tommy Karevik, Clémentine Delauney of Visions of Atlantis, and Ignacia Fernández of Decessus. The album also includes guest appearances by Tobias Sammet of Avantasia.

To support the release, the band is launching the ‘Dark Asylum World Tour’. The tour begins in Orlando, Florida, and includes North American stops in New York, Seattle, and Dallas, alongside international dates in Tilburg, London, Warsaw, and Barcelona.
