A 17-hour outage at the Dhabeji Pumping Station, caused by a cable fault, resulted in a shortage of approximately 198 million gallons of water. While K-Electric restored electricity to most affected feeders to resume pumping operations, the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) has moved to address long-term infrastructure needs.
