The 39th annual Days of Beer (Dani piva) festival in Karlovac, Croatia, commenced on August 28, 2026, and is scheduled to run through September 1. Held in the Zvijezda area, the five-day event features a program of music, gastronomy, and beer education, including a Beer Academy, workshops, and an open house at the Karlovac brewery.

As the festival began, local officials emphasized its significance for regional tourism. Mayor Damir Mandić noted the importance of the partnership with Heineken Croatia, stating that the brewery is a “defining element of the city’s identity.” County Prefect Martina Furdek Hajdin added that the event reinforces Karlovac County’s position as a leader in continental tourism.

The musical lineup features various genres, including pop, rock, trap, and alt-pop. Severina headlined the opening night, with performances by Petar Grašo and Indira also scheduled. 

In addition to musical entertainment, the festival offers a wide array of traditional activities, such as a beer fountain. Gastronomy is highlighted through special beer-based menus from local restaurants. To facilitate attendance, organizers provided free transport and a special festival train on the Zagreb–Karlovac–Zagreb route. Beverage selections include Karlovačko beer, as well as offerings from craft breweries such as Medvedgrad, Saperlot, and Zmajska Brewery.
